Miss Frida was born to promote and support Latin American and Spanish textile craftsmanship.
The Charity Boutique:
Handmade embroideries with stunning colours and unique patterns, we work with small craft collectives in rural Latin America and Spanish ateliers to bring you ethical and chic babywear with a story of women´s empowerment.
Our philosophy is based on four fundamental principles:
1. Modern Classics:
Inspired by classic patterns, Miss Frida seeks to create timeless designs with a vintage twist that show the charm and daintiness that belong to every baby.
All our collections are handmade, taking care of the small details in the finishes with a pretty row of vintage lace or embroidery along the edges, and making sure they are simple, comfortable and easy to care for.
2. Organic Cotton:
Natural, organic cotton is a timeless classic, low maintenance and gentle on young, sensitive skin.
All our fabrics are traded in Spain, and have GOTS and OEKOTEX quality certificates.
3. Sustainable Craftsmanship:
Committed to 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Miss Frida was born out of the idea to tackle poverty and combat inequality in rural areas of Latin America.
To this end, 10% of our profits are donated to `The Embroidery Project´, our charitable initiative to tackle women´s unemployment in rural Latin America by connecting talented indigenous artisans with social consumers across the world through unique babywear.
4. Made in Spain:
Our collections are manufactured in Spain from start to finish: we work hand-in-hand with recognised ateliers and, together, we seek to offer garments that are durable and beautiful. It is our dream for our items become must-have for any mum who prioritises quality above all else at an affordable price.
